BioMy name is Jesse. I'm a 22 year old gay pagan computer programmer.
I have an eclectic collection of hobbies: hiking, camping, horseback riding, reading and writing fiction, dabbling in the Society for Creative Anachronism, and of course doing various things on my computer. I'm a big advocate of Free Software including Linux in all of its wonderful flavors.
I'm currently living in Milwaukee, a cold wet and miserable city whose two main exports are beer (they actually do have some good beers so I have no idea why they allow Milwaukee's Best to be marketed under that name) and Harleys. There are good and bad sides to that. The good side is that the city is crawling with butch long-haired guys with leather jackets and bikes. Mmmmmmm. The bad news is most of them are lesbians. (Yes, there is precedent, but I don't think a lesbian mistress is exactly what I need out of life right now. Please don't give Zeus ideas.)
I'm a practicing pagan, whatever that means. I'm a polytheist, but I also believe in a transcendent Tao-like force that permeates through everything in the verse. I worship a neolithic hunt God (wow! What an incredible surprise!), but also the Olympian pantheon. I consider Athena to be my patron Goddess and do most of my work with her. Zeus also has a habit of just popping in and out of my life on a whim. Usually when I'm in the shower.
